Stevie Ray Vaughan, one of the greatest guitar players to ever live and my personal favorite, died 22 years ago today.

Lucky for us, he left behind a ton of music to remember him by. So of course you're listening to a little SRV today, right? Just in case you weren't, here is a live recording of him playing Lenny: d2_10_Lenny.mp3.

This is the best version of Lenny I've ever heard and I like it so much I made absolutely sure it was the very first song that my daughter Madeline ever heard. We sometimes call her "little lenny" as well.

And for a little video, here he is playing Texas Flood on Austin City Limits in 1983.
