St. Louis people don't bother using blinkers on the road. I don't know why they bother installing them in cars they sell here.

Here is something that I just don't seem to understand about the phone companies here. When I moved back to St. Louis in July, I ordered DSL for home (it's a high speed connection to the internet for those who aren't in the know) and it only took 3 months to get it installed. That was a very long 3 months I had to wait- and I was originally given an estimate of 45 days- still a very long time to wait.

Last week Brooke orders it for her home and she gets her DSL modem in the mail today, and it's supposed to be hooked up next week. That's a 2 week turn around time.

I want to know why mine took 6 times longer to get installed. I guess I'm just not as cute as her :)
