(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

So while waiting for slow servers to come back at work, I have taken the opportunity to entertain myself with writing some little java games. Well, sort of... they aren't really games I guess... but they will be eventually. I just have to finish them.

Here's an early version of the old Atari classic, Missile Command and here is the beginnings of Combat. You will have to use a browser that has Java enabled to play with them. And there aren't really instructions yet either... so you will just have to play around to find out what to do...

There is alot of flickering in the games, because I haven't enabled double buffering yet (the stuff that makes it looks smoother) ... but I'll get to that eventually. Just remember- I did these when I was bored :)

. . . . . .

I updated my resume tonight! You can look at it here. There is a ton of stuff, like applications that I have written and things that I have done that seem to have been left off. I just don't know how to include them. How do you put down something like "I wrote a partial implementation of an FTP server that backends to a mysql database, along with passive support" in a resume? It's not like it was something easy to do, and it needs to be recognized somehow... but it doesn't seem to really fit either.

I guess I'll have to find another way to show that stuff on my website.
