(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

I did quite a bit of climbing tonight- which was a big suprise for me, since I wasn't even planning on going. But my friend Jim left a message on my phone saying he was going to be at the climbing gym tonight, and as I was driving home to get my gear, Ryan called to get our plans for this weekend straightened up.

So all three of us got together and climbed at the gym for a couple of hours. I think I'm finally back to where I was when I was at my peak of climbing. That's a good thing. I've been working at it for months now, and I think it's finally paying off.

Here's what I climbed tonight, in order
5.10 lead
5.11 tr
5.11b/c cleaning up after ryan(3 falls)
5.10 lead
5.10 lead (one hang)
5.9 lead
5.11 lead (one hang)
5.8 lead
5.10 tr

It was all good- but it's always good whenever I climb with either Jim or Ryan. This weekend is going to be extra fun. Me and Ryan and a couple of other guys are going to be climbing at Jackson Falls (IL). Looks like good weather, and I know Ryan and I are looking forward to it.

I'm going to be really tired on monday...
