(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

I'm happy. And sweaty too. I finally made my goal of running around 2 miles tonight without stopping. I think I figured out that eating a light dinner helps alot- I have noticed that with climbing too.

I guess I'm back in shape now. I'm climbing better, running farther, and... um.. typing faster. I just need to shave a few more pounds off, and I'll be making it up those 5.12s! (really hard climbs)

I guess that's an official goal now.

Oh- and another thing to be happy about. My good friend Jill Bremer is back from a 3.5 year stay in Africa. I can't wait to see her again. Right now she's staying in Denver at her inlaws, and I'm half tempted to drive up there this weekend. (from St. Louis.. ~10 hour drive.)

But I think I'll let her settle in a little while. I'm sure she has alot of catching up to do. I told her she needs to go see the Matrix, and try some cherry mountain dew- man, I hope she doesn't get hooked on that stuff.
