(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

So I wrote an application for MacOS X tonight- it's a little ball that bounces around the screen.

Pretty entertaining, but wait- there's more!

I hooked up a couple of virtual key codes to it (geek speak for I made it think I was hitting the keyboard when I wasn't) and when Internet Explorer was the front application, it would go back a page in history when the ball hit the left side of the screen, and when it bounced back to the right side of the screen, it would go forward a page in history.

Pretty useless, but at least I'm amused.

And now I'm eating popcorn.
