This statement by Jim Roepcke had me laughing this morning:

"It took a while, but people are finally starting to figure out that structuring web applications and using proper object oriented design techniques might actually improve the development process."

At the university of mo where I used to work I did this with amazing success. At my last job, I had been trying to tell people this with a bit of success. And at my current job, I haven't bothered explaining it, I'm just doing it with hopes that some day they'll catch on.

Speaking of my old jobs- it looks like the iats website still has my easter eggs.

One of my favorite ones was loging in using the id "oh canada" . Try it out.

There are a couple of other ones, but I guess they wouldn't be easter eggs if everyone knew.
