(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

I'm back from another trip down to Sam's Throne- to say that it was a very good trip would be an understatement. It was myself, Andy, George and Kirstin- whom I met at the gym this past week. Kirstin is a super cool girl whom has the distinction of being the only person I've ever met who knew more about the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" than I do. So much so that it sorta ticked me off at first, but I got over it fairly quick because she owns Buddy Guy's album "Sweet Tea" and she knows who Robert Johnson is.

Trip highlights for me included finally red pointing a climb called "Spank Me" that I've been working on (3rd time is a charm!), watching the Saturday evening sunset from on top of the bluff, and my personal favorite, staying up late to watch the stars go by from right above Windy Arm Buster. It was a little chilly though, and I was shivering like a mad man at one point :)

I should put together a little trip report- but as usual, I'm too tired to type anything up right now. I'll have pictures up tomorrow morning.

I'm going to sleep now, as a Happy August.
