(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

A little while back, maybe a year or so ago people all over the net were making fun of a game called "Zero Wing" which was a badly translated (to english) video game from Toaplan. Anyway the line that everyone was making fun of was "All your base are belong to us." - you would see that text spewed all across the net for weeks on end. It got very old, very quickly.

Anyway, I can't help but think of that since I'm working on a translation of a document at work. I'm just wondering if there are going to be groups of people in the heavy equipment industry laughing at the work I'm doing, and what a freaking idiot I am. "All your engines belong to us".
