(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Well, I finally got the mu.org box all packaged up and ready to ship out to CA tomorrow. It's about freaken time. I couldn't ever find a box that was the correct size for it, so I had to take a bigger one, and then cut it up. Then I found out that UPS requires computers to be shipped in 2 boxes... so I had to get another box that was exactly 4 inches bigger than the box I just cut up, and put that on the outside with lots of foam and stuff between them. So I ended up going to a little recycle stop near my house, and fishing out a really large box that was used to hold a futon. The box worked out pretty good.

Then I decided to make a desktop picture for work... you can download it here if you are interested- lilStickDesktop1024.jpg. And here's a little preview:

It's actually a drawing that I did a while back- and since I've got some nice icons for my OS X desktop now... the white background will do them ... um... good.
