(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

I seem to be getting a little bit farther along with my new CMS (GMJa) than I thought would be at this point. It's pretty cool, and it flies on my home machine, even with the code being compiled during runtime.

I think I might have to add an option to precompile everything too- that would be pretty cool- and it would probably also allow errors to be found right away too... hrm.. good idea Gus, you need to get to work on that.

I think my biggest holdup on switching to it will be waiting for FreeBSD to finish up their 1.3 Java port- I think I'm finally breaking away from all the 1.1 crap that I've been dealing with for years. (Isn't that like 4 years old now at this point... shesh.) Ok, it's not really crap, but I know there is alot of cool stuff out there in the latest releases that I'm just not using, and I really want to start using it.

Ok, back to coding.
