(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

It rained a bit this weekend when I went down to Sam's. Bummer. I did 4 climbs, but they were the same ones I did a couple of weeks ago, and I did em twice each :) At least I got in 2 leads, and I almost got the redpoint on "spank me", and 10d.

All that went had fun even though it rained. I got to see Brain and Waheeda again, before they head off to Texas to live and work- and I got to see Jay again. I haven't see Jay since I climbed the Grand Teton with him. I didn't realize how much I missed climbing with those guys, I'm really really glad I went.

Cindy and Dave also seemed to have a good time. Cindy almost passed out from dehydration at one point. When we got back I told her to "Drink alot of water, go pee, drink alot more." After that she was fine :)

I also met 2 new folks down there this weekend too- Foodie who just came over from China a couple of months ago, and Sean, who is just getting into climbing. I can tell right away I'm going to see Sean again, because he's got that look in his eyes that says he's going to be doing this for a long time to come...

And when I got home, me and miss Brooke went outside for a little walk, and there was a full moon out which was cool to see.

And now it's starting to rain again outside- but it's a nice little thunderstorm, and it's got that summer smell and feel to it that I love.
