June 19, 2002
(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

I can't believe June is almost over. Time is flying by way too quick. I haven't gotten nearly enough climbing in this year as I should have already. But if the weather looks good this weekend, that's what I'm doing. And if it looks bad, I'm going fishing with Doug.

Had the house inspection today. All looks pretty good except for some electrical work and some plumbing work that should probably get done before I move in. I hope that's what happens anyway. Intrest rates are really low right now too- I got my loan fixed at at 6 1/8th. Cool.

I've been starting to mess a little bit more with opengl again. Planning out the next game I want to write... right behind finishing up my app server, my database query thing, and a drawing program I want to work on. Actually, it's kind of nice having all of those going on at the same time- because I know if I don't feel like working on one, I'll work on the other. They are all pretty different as far as designs & technology go, although the vector design app is kind of similar to something I'm doing at work right now (the backend part of it anyway- laying out graphics and such.)

Oh geeze, look at the time! I gots' to go meet Mike at the climbing gym.
