(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Well, I'm leaving for 2 weeks tomorrow- going to Colorado with my friends Jamie and Fred. We're going to be doing some kyaking, and some hiking and camping and biking, and hopefuly some climbing too. But I think the exact dates of said events are all up in the air right now.

But that's ok. I'm going to have fun anyway.

Wow, 2 weeks without work. Not to rub it in or anything, but... heh. 2 weeks.

And just to make sure I've got a job when I get back, for the past 2 months I've been putting bogus code into dev's cvs. I'm still using cvs, I'm just using it localy on an encrypted disk. I took all the cool new stuff I've been working on and put it on a 256 bit encrypted volume - and I've got the private key on my iPod. That's why I didn't get crap done that day a couple of weeks ago when I didn't have my iPod with me. It's all just sitting there on my computer at work, but it's worthless without the key.

Anyway, I've got a job when I get back, and a nice raise if they're smart.

Or milo gets it.
