(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)
Arg. My dsl still isn't hooked up yet. wtf.
Anyway, I just found out why I didn't get kicked off the modem the other day when someone called- there is a seperate line going into the house that the previous owners must have not disconnected. So I've got 2 lines right now. NEAT!
I guess I should find out how to contact them to let them know to turn it off.
