(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

I've been using Quicken for a little while on Mac OS X to keep track of my money and such. But it seems overkill, and I don't like the interface that much. So I've been pondering writing my own little money tracking app... then I just noticed Checkbook today. Looks like it'll do the trick, and feels nicer than some other Mac OS X money apps... the only drawback is the metal interface, which I guess I can get over.
