(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

This splinter is out.

Thank God for Neosporin. Sharon from work stuck some on my finger, and about a half hour later while trying to get it out, I think I pushed it in even further. After a little yelp of pain, I squeezed my finger in such a way to try and push it out, and wow... it worked this time. The neosporin had gotten in there and lubed things up a little bit, for which I was very very grateful.

Now instead of a sore finger with a splinter in it, I've just got a sore finger.

Wow, it only took over 24 hours to get that sucker out. At least now I know what to do when it comes to stubborn splinters.
