(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Ok, gotta catch up with some news here.

Two Fridays ago, myself and Kirstin started our St. Louis Pizza Tour- visit a whole bunch of pizza places that we've never been with hopes to find some gems. The first place we went to was "Papa Litos" - a crappy little bar that had some tables, and sold pizza, wings, n' things.

I'll just keep it short- the pizza was alright, but we won't go back. However, there was a bar fight which gave it a thumbs up in my book.

Ok, skip forward to this past Friday. Kirstin wanted something "in a nice glass" before we headed over to our local Friday night dive (cbgb's- no, not like the one in New York). So we stopped at Absolute Goosed before cbgb to get a martini. George and Judith were working there that night, and I ended up getting trashed. Mmmm chocolate martinis.

Saturday I built a new fence around my tomatoes. It is now 95% dog proof.

Sunday Kirstin, Andy, and I went down to Jackson Fall's for some climbing. We got in about 5 climbs, the dogs had fun, and I redpointed a 5.11a. Then it rained and we got wet. But we had mexican for dinner, so that's ok.

Then today I got a letter in the mail from Charter, my cable company. For about a month, I was getting really bad connections from them- it was dropping all the time, and it just basically sucked. People came out, said "hrm". Came out again, said "hrm". They upped the signal, then it was too much, so they turned it down. It's all good now. Anyway, the letter said they would be giving me more bandwidth- since the troubles were from them upgrading the network... I was at 768k, now I'm at 2024k. w00t.
