(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Well, I'm finally home.

I've been in 5 states today- Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, and finally ending up in Missouri. The weather sucked, but I took my time and just stayed alert and all was good. I saw about 9 cars off the side of the road- at least 3 of them looked pretty bad, and 7 semi trailers in the ditches, one of which was facing the wrong way.

And CNN says at least eight people died today because of the weather... three in MO.

So anyway- the trip was good, myself and the dogs had fun climbing with Kirstin down in Tennessee, even if it was only for a day.

And here are some pics (click the images for larger versions):

dogs swimming.

Jimi on a suspension bridge.

it's pretty green for january.

For some reason however, I didn't take any pictures of the rock climbing. Go figure.
