Silly Core Graphics nonsense. (Quicktime movie).
I had a "GREAT" idea to make a startup screen for VoodooPad this evening... it's pointless, but kinda fun. And make sure to have sound effects when you watch it... something like shwoooooh-chwahhhhhhh.
And have no fear- I'm about 99% sure this won't be in the final version :)

I've put out a new version of VoodooPad and VoodooPad Lite (1.1.3). This release is all bug fixes and cosmetic issues. Download it if that's your thing.
Work on the next big update to VoodooPad continues. I need to give it a code name- because I don't want to call it 1.2, or 1.5, or maybe VoodooPad 2004. Version numbers aren't my thing- and I don't know how much stuff is going to go into this release just yet. So... how about "Snoh" for a code name? Snoh is short for Snohomiosh which is up in Washington, which is where Kirstin is from. Yea, it sounds dumb, but it'll grow on you.
When I worked at the University I used to name all my projects after small towns in Missouri. There was Troy, Sparta, Lupus, and one of my favorites- Alba. Those were fun times... nothing like 50 students in a classroom all changing their passwords at once at the direction of the teacher. "Ok, now does everybody have their password typed in? Ok, hit the submit button."
Chug... chug... chug... KABOOM
... student raises hand. "Mine says 'not enough database connections, please try again later'".
Needless to say alba quickly got some queuing code.
Ahhh. The joys of synchronizing id's and passwords for 300,000 user accounts across 4 different architectures (Kerberos, NT/Exchange, Unix/AIX/SGI, and NOVEL!??!?!) and 4.5 campuses. Those were the days. I wonder how the good battle is going these days?
What? Oh, right- VoodooPad 1.1.3 is out. And if everyone promises to buy two copies, I promise not to relapse into University Story Mode again for three more weeks that is.....
Have fun.
