(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

This past weekend was pretty busy. Kirstin's mom came into town for Kirstin's wedding shower on Sunday, and while she was here she got a taste of Six Flags, and alot of humidity. Oh- and she got to see a bunch of fireflies in the back yard. Apparently they just don't exist in Seattle.

Saturday I went to Andy's wedding reception, where I ran into a bunch of people that apparently read my blog. "How's the garden doing?", "The guys at work really like what you did to your guitar!". It's a little strange talking to people you've never met before, and they know alot more about you than you do about them :) Anyway- hi to all the folks down in Springfield, and sorry I took off without saying bye to you Matt... it was fun though.

Sunday was the actual reception- I drove out to my Aunt's where the little party was, and stuck around for about 15 minutes to say hi to everyone. Then my uncle and myself went out to do a little bit of drinking, and we showed up back at the house 3 hours later. Kirstin got a bunch of cool presents, so thanks to all the people who were there.
