(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Well, I'm back from Seattle, and all is good. The wedding went really well, lots of friends and family showed up but the wedding didn't get too big which is what we wanted.

Last week we had our honeymoon in Squamish where we did lots of climbing and hiking and a little bit of white water rafting. The climbing was pretty good, but it wasn't what I expected. We got on a 7 pitch 5.8 where at times the run-out was up to 40 feet. Yikes. That would have been a big fall. Fortunately I didn't take any spills, so I got to come back in one piece. Kirstin also did her first hanging belay which is always fun/scary. At least they are to me.

This past Sunday we had a reception in Seattle (that's where Kirstin is from) and I got to meet lots of new folks who I guess are now in-law folks. They were very nice people, the whole shindig was lots of fun.

Now Kirstin is in Sandpoint, Idaho untill January for her last clinical, and I'm back to work.
