(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Render Math VoodooPad Plugin, from Gordon Worley.

"The Render Math VoodooPad Plugin uses LaTeX to render math in your VoodooPad documents."

.. as far as I know, this is the first publicly available plugin for VoodooPad that didn't come from Flying Meat. Cooool.

Christmas Tree

Washington State tree cutting permit from REI: 10 dollars.

Six Krispy Kreme doughnuts and hot chocolate: 11 dollars.

Whacking our way through the snow and woods to find the right one: 200 calories.

Cutting down our very own and very first Christmas tree: Priceless.

...

And of course the first thing Jimi did when we were trimming it up in the back yard was mark it as "his". Maybe that's really the priceless part.
