(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Two new pieces of Mac software out today from folks I know.

WebnoteHappy Lite from Happy Apps, aka Luis de la Rosa. (It's still in beta, but it's it's first public release).

"WebnoteHappy Lite lets you write a note for any web page that interests you, creating a bookmark in the process. But "web page bookmark with a note" is kind of long, so let's just call it a "webnote"."

This is Luis's first Mac program- congrats!

And PongSaver from Mike Ash of Rogue Amoeba.

It displays the time as the sore for a pong game, and a new point is scored about every minute. Now that's just silly.
