(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Hurray! VoodooPad 2.5 is out.

New features are listed on the wiki, release notes are up as well.

Thanks again to all the beta testers, and the folks who helped me with the localizations. You guys rock.

My second favorite new feature is the web export workflow stuff. You can now make decent looking websites out of a VoodooPad document, which is super cool.

My favorite feature is something I added last night at the last minute, breaking my own rules by doing this (I usually wait 7+ days on a release without touching it, this is to make sure no deal breakers show up to ruin the release). I'll have more to say about it later, but I'll tell you that it has to do with lua and a simple but really useful plugin I wrote.

And hey- how about this... it was exactly one year ago today that I released VoodooPad 2.0. Neat.
