(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Just a quick little poll- would you rather have VoodooPad 2.1 sooner with less new features, or later with more features?

Some of the new features for VoodooPad 2.1 are categories, support for Spotlight, "unlinking" (which turns a linked word into a non link), undo on page deletes and sketch, html export enhancements, a couple of new AppleScript things, and of course- ripping the sorry excuse of "Remote Editing" out into its own app which has its own set of new features. FlyStash (VPStash) gets an upgrade, and there are various bug fixes as well.

So do I keep going or should I start wrapping up? Of course I have the benefit of knowing what else I would be adding with more work... I've got a huge list. But as it stands, is the given feature list worthy of a 2.x release? I always have a hard time figuring these things out.

There will also be another feature release (2.2/2.5?) after this, so it's not like everything has to be in there.

Thoughts?

And here is an update on the naming contest for Milton. One idea was given in the comments that really grew on me, and I think I want to use it. But unfortunately the person who left the suggestion didn't leave their email address, only their name. And I have no idea how to get in contact with said person. So... if that was you- send me your email address (gus@flyingmeat.com), and what you suggested as a name... and I'll see what I can do for some little prize.
