(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

So I've got a couple of things to share with ya'll.

I've got a fro now. I've been letting my hair grow out for quite some time and it gets curly and funky and big. So I'll be the tall white guy with a 'fro at WWDC. If you see me, say hi.

I quit my job today. It's been a little over four years since I started there, and while frustrating at times it has also been fun and mutually beneficial for both of us, which is about as good as you can ask for. May 13th will be my last day, which gives three weeks to squeeze as much as they can out of my brain before I go.

We close the sale of our current house May 19th, Kirstin (that'll be Dr. Kirstin to you..) graduates on the 20th, and we pack all our crap up (do I really need that color classic? why yes, I do.) and start driving north west on the 21st. We close on our new place on the 26th, and move in on the 27th after 5pm.

And thus the mystery of 3649 + 6640 is revealed. It's pretty dumb really. 3649 + 6640 = 10289. Which looks alot like a zip-code... which it is, only backwards. 98201 would be the zip code of Everett, Washington- 25 miles north of Seattle and the location of our new home.

There's also obviously something in the north west (something in the water probably) that lets indie mac programmers grow. Hopefully whatever it is will work on me because I'll be working on Flying Meat full time. w00t.

I can't wait.
