(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Woohoo! I sat down at one of the x86 boxes they have here, with 10.4.1 on em- and got both VoodooPad and FlySketch running. I feel kind of dirty.. but it was pretty easy to do. The only changes I had to make for VoodooPad was to drop the eSellerate libs (which have not been updated yet), and recompile expat on the intel machine. I had to drop the eSllerate libs for FlySketch as well. After that, it was just a recompile and all was good for VoodooPad, and mostly good for FlySketch.

Here's some pics: (Update: You know... those pics are probably under NDA, so I'm going to get rid of the links until I hear otherwise.)

I think this transition is going to be pretty easy. Also read Switching to Intel: developers speak out, where I'm quoted and so are a bunch of other developers on our thoughts.
