From developer.apple.com (and brought to my attention by Scott Ryder)- the ".Mac 2.0 SDK Developer Preview" is available for download. Here's the cut and paste:

"Introducing .Mac SDK 2.0. Extend your application using the SDK's new APIs for Internet-based collaboration, workflow and security -- all without any network programming."

I saw the session over this at WWDC, and there is some very very cool stuff in there.
