(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

FlySketch 1.5b2 is ready for download. Mac OS X 10.3.9+ required.

Mostly it's been bug fixes since the last version- nothing major to report.

FlySketch seems to be getting very close to a final release. The documentation has finally been updated- in fact, it's a snapshot of what you can find on the FlySketch wiki, which I think is kind of neat. (Geek talk- the backend to the latest version of the wiki is a sqlite database, which is copied down via a "makedocs.sh" script, and a static/local version of the documentation with images and everything is spit out for FlySketch.)

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Frédéric BLANC, who not only has been providing the French localization of FlySketch, but also seems to have sent me more bug/improvement reports than everyone else combined. He rules.

I had a few instant messages waiting this morning from Paul, starting from last night:

8:44: "Yo" 8:45: "wtf is konfabulator?" 8:45: "GUUUUUSSSS"

And then this morning:

7:33: "omg" 7:33: "we bought konfabulator"

... and that left me thinking- "We? Does he mean him and Dave got a copy of Konfabulator or something? Why would he buy it when he doesn't understand it?"

And then I saw the news.

Yahoo! acquires Konfabulator.

Oh, that "we".

Congrats to the Konfabulator guys- and to Yahoo as well. That's uber-awesome.
