(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Quentin (of Rogue Amoeba, great audio apps- check em' out) shows how to do custom windows like iTunes 5 has.

I had a couple of people ask how to do this, so I pinged Quentin and asked if it was alright to let a couple of people in on the secret- and he goes and puts up a great step by step on how it's done. Well done.

But please, try not to abuse it like I have. As Matt Gemmell says- "That's perhaps the most dangerous piece of knowledge in the entire history of OS X UI development."
