(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

Terry Gross has a fun little interview with Eric Clapton up on npr.org. There's a part where they talk about the "Eric is God" graffiti that used to pop up. He says he never actually saw any of it.

I have however, or something quite similar to it. The greatest pizza restaurant ever, Shakespeare's, used to have spray panted on the back of the building (which was made of red brick) "Clapton is the Sun". It always made me smile whenever I walked past it. Unfortunately I believe it was cleaned up when they added a patio addition in the back one day. It might still be there... I'll have to check next time I'm in the area.
