(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)
So I've got a new blog system in place now.
I've been saying for a while now that "in theory" you can build a blog system with VoodooPad + a Lua script plugin. Tada. It's still got some rough edges, but everything (excluding the comments) is made by VP. Woo. It's even got a news feed (rfc4287).
I'm sure there's some brokenness with it, so make sure to let me know if you encounter any. And some day when I manage to clean up and comment the code I'll have to share it for other folks to hack up.
And yes, I realize it looks like crap :)
