(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

I've got beta builds of VoodooPad 3.1 ready for anyone who would like to test it.

You can read all about it on the wiki, but the highlights are: Unified windows and drawers are back (as an option), a new pref pane for tabs, text zoom, sketch improvements, links to run plugins, a "Send To" plugin, bug fixes, and other little things.

And here's the links: VoodooPad-3.1b2.dmg VoodooPadPro-3.1b2.dmg VoodooPadLite-3.1b2.dmg

If you've found a bug, let me know via the web form on fm's website.

And you of course want to backup your documents before running this and any other new release of VoodooPad. But of course since you put your brain in it, you do that regularly anyway. Right?

Of course.

Did I ever tell you about the time I had a hard disk go bad in my powerbook the day I was supposed to give a presentation at Xcoders? That sucked. You know what else sucks? Those little usb thumb drives... don't use em! They like to go bad.

But don't mind me, I'm just overly sensitive since people do tend to put their really important info into VoodooPad. Paranoid is probably a better word.

...

Hurry up and get here already Time Machine.
