(This post is from my old, old, super old site. My views have changed over the years, hopefully my writing has improved, and there is now more than a handful of folks reading my site. Enjoy.)

I got a new toy today. One of them shiny GuitarPort thingamabobs from Line 6.

So that usb audio cable I raved about earlier- yea, it rocks. Except if you start using any controls on your guitar. Then it's static city. Yikes. Maybe I should have played with it a bit more before I posted about it. Oh well.

However, shortly afterwards (based on a comment in my blog (thanks dbas, whomever you are!)) I discovered GuitarPort.

Yes, this thingie rocks even more than the last thingie.

It's got all kinds of amp modeling setting and it's just crazy nuts. I love it. Really. You can trust me this time.

And, because such things happen when I get a new toy, here's a recording with one of the "jazz" presets: On the Eve of MWSF07.

It's kind of long and I've got to work on my GB skills, but enjoy.
