Jonathan Wight / Toxic Software has written a framework for loading Acorn images. It's super awesome. He even wrote an Interface Builder 3 plugin, so you can load them in IB3. And it's as easy as coding up '[NSImage imageNamed:@"IAmAnAcornFile"];'.
