I had a much longer post written on Steve's resignation today. But it ended up having a pretty sad tone to it, so I'll just skip it for now.

It sounds cheesy, but I really just wanted to say thanks for the dedication, hard work, the long hours I know were put in, and the relentless pursuit of perfection which has been an example for everyone.

I realize SJ didn't create Apple by himself, and that the engineers and artists and everyone else at Apple deserve 99% of the credit. But Steve had a vision and was in the position to make things happen and didn't just back down when times were hard.

And I am very glad he didn't.
