Steve Streza, Informal Protocol: Files as UI vs API

So while there is an argument to be made that Dropbox’s UI is a relic, its value as a syncing engine is still huge, precisely because it’s built around the paradigm of files, a paradigm we have decades of experience working with.

Steve's post is in response to Rene Ritchie's iCloud vs. Dropbox, where Rene pours some cold water on Dropbox. I'm glad Steve Streza wrote this, because I was thinking about doing it myself and now I don't have to (that, and I'd probably coming off sounding like a jerk. Steve does a much better job than I would have).
